What are the Qualifications Required ?
- Scholar Must be a Filipino citizen
- Scholar is a permanent resident of Cagayan Oro City
- Scholar must be pursuing an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis
- Scholar must be a graduate of Senior High School
- Scholar Scholar must be incoming first year college student by start of S.Y. 2024-2025
- Scholar must NOT have been enrolled in College
- Scholar must NOT have an exceeded gross total family income to Php300,000 annually
- Scholar must NOT have a sibling or family member that is currently a city applicant
What Are the Priority Courses ?
- Agriculture (Agribusiness, Biosystems Engineering, Crop Science)
- Education (Major in TLE, Filipino, and Special Education)
- Business and Tourism
- Engineering
- Medical-related Courses (Nursing; subject for evaluation of the Scholarships Committee)
- Information and Communication Technologies (Data Science, Computer Science, and IT)
Type’s of Scholarship
- 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 – accepted applicants may choose any partner school of choice and any course including board- and medical-related courses (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy , Med Tech, etc.) depending on the actual ranking of the Scholar
- 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 – accepted scholar may only choose any non-board and non-medical-related course in a school approved by the City Scholarships Committee
*Scholarship type will be based on the Scholar’s ranking as determined by the Scholarships Committee

April 21-25 Qualifying Exam for City Proper – residing applicants
April 26 Qualifying Exam for Upland – residing applicants
